    Field Engineer

    POSITIONS
    Full Time

    OPPORTUNITIES
A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Computer Engineering. Provide on-site technical services to support roll-out of prototype oilfield equipment. Depending on the engineers background, he/she will also be tasked with engineering upgrades which could be on the software, firmware, communication network aspects; on the mechanical, HPHT, reliability aspects; or on the circuit design, RF hardware, simulation.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
    ESSENTIAL
    • Travel to field locations in US, GOM and Middle East.
    • Perform similar analysis on the MicroSilicon hardware and give feedback on opportunities for improvement.
    • Provide manufacturing and QA/QC support while in Houston.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • 2-5 years field experience in oil & gas
    • Strong analytical skills – must have proven capabilities in at least one of designated technical support categories.
    • Diagnostic abilities – must be able to diagnose problems with existing equipment and find solutions to them.
    • Strong written and oral communications skills (English).
    • Self-starter. Independent thinker.
    • Be a team player. Have opinions and listen to others.
